Sue Gifford, Artist and Surface Decorator, creates beautiful imagery realised from her love of adornment found in antique textiles and intricate detail discovered in nature. A series of cushions, the designs of which are digitally printed onto linens and velvets and complimented with sumptuous silks, are an introduction to her decorative collection. They contain elements of imagery and tone and shade that have meant so much to her during her lifetime - so far! All designs are originally handpainted in the studio in Cork, and constructed with care and attention in Ireland.

Sue, who attained a BA (Hons) Printed Textiles in Farnham, Surrey, went on to work in London both in retail and interior design, continuing her love of painting and detail in various fabulous projects for clients in the UK and USA. Now in Ireland, Sue works on a variety of unique projects with interior designers, businesses such as restaurants, schools, hotels & nursing homes, as well as private clients on bespoke schemes. Producing interiors & exterior solutions utilizing hand painted furniture, textiles & murals including chinoiserie.

Sue is a registered client of the Design & Crafts Council of Ireland.
